Out and About in Toronto: LPAA Family Fun Day

I’ve been spending some of my time this past few months helping to organize the newest annual Lawrence Park Athletic Association Family Fun Day with my co-chair, the amazing Connie Carmichael. We are now into the home stretch and things are going fantastic. Right now we are looking for volunteers. If you want to have a great time with your family in an awesome neighbourhood and meet some wonderful neighbours, come on out!  It takes place May 30th and there are going to be lots of different races, bouncy castles, carnival games, crafts, face painting, a pet show, a parade, a birds of prey show, watergun battles, lots of food (including a pig roast new this year), and a DJ dance party! Whew! It had been a Lawrence Park tradition for almost 40 years and it’s going to be an awesome party. Hope to see you there. Bring your friends, stop us and say hi! It’s a wonderful fun day, a super way to meet new friends and we couldn’t do it without you! Don’t forget to click here to volunteer!
